Although it was not meant to be, I am glad to have the line coming into the shop and also to be the first and only account in the state of Connecticut. Thanks to everybody at CONS and big ups to Chase for pulling some strings and getting us hooked up. We will keep you posted on the releases that we will be receiving and when!

SNEAK PEAK AT THE P ROD 2.5

Just when you thought it was the end of the P Rod 2, Nike SB surprises us by using the P Rod 2 upper on a vulc sole. Here is a sneak peak at the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5  which is slated for release in the spring 2010 line. Most noticeably is the vulcanized sole, which looks like the same sole used on the Janowski. In the past we have seen the P Rod 2 upper on the free runner bottom, now a slimmed down vulc sole for skate! I’m a big fan of the 2.5

NIKE SB JUNE FOOTWEAR IN NOW

The featured shoe for the month is the white/black Paul Rodriguez 2 Premium SB. With the next model in the series, the P-Rod 3 debuting in August, Nike SB had to make the P-Rod 2 go out with a bang. This final colorway is inspired by one of the most iconic Dunk Low’s that has ever came out as an SB, the Supreme. We all know it well, and most of you out there would kill to have a pair of them. While that isn’t very easy to come by nor cheap, this P-Rod 2 is a perfect option instead to fill the void. Also, it’s a nice way to get the blood flowing for all you Jordan heads out there waiting for a certain Jordan III to be re-retroed the end of August in a similiar color scheme. Retail for the final P-Rod 2 colorway is $100.

Next up we have two new Dunks, one a low and one a mid. The lowtop features an all white upper with perforations on the toe and side panels along with a combination of light grey nubuck. A few hits of dark blue on the heel tab and tongue tag and a gum sole, and you have one great looking sneaker perfect for the summer time. A little darker, the mid features a full suede upper with a leather toebox. A few hits of gold and an all white midsole/sole, and it’s complete. Retail for the low will be $92 as it’s a Premium while the mid will retail for $10 less at $82.

Finishing out the month we have a new Blazer and Zoom Tre A.D. The Blazer is a nice premium colorway alot of people have been waiting for. It features a nice all red suede upper with a black Swoosh and the traditional all white sole. Retail on these is $80. The Tre A.D. is perfect for all occasions with it’s all black upper and a few hits of metallic gold for that little pop. The Zoom Tre A.D. will come in at the usual $95

Nike SB welcomes Eric Koston to the team!

Nike SB welcomes Eric Koston to the team!

2009 is shaping up to be the busiest summer ever for Nike SB, but simply put, any time is a good time to add Eric Koston to your team.

Eric had this to say:
“Not only am I psyched to be a part of the great group of guys that makes up the Nike SB team, but I’m equally as excited to work with them creatively. I’m sure many people know that a lot of different Nike’s have been the inspiration for my shoe designs over the last 12 years, so I feel like a f%cking kid in a candy store when it comes to this partnership between Nike and I.”
